As soon as Todd walked in the door from work this afternoon he said we need to figure out where we are going to go this weekend. I originally wanted to go to Switzerland (how cool is it I can say "honey, lets go to Switzerland this weekend"!?) and still very much want to, but after hours and hours of internet research we still didn't really have the foggest clue of how to use the trains (i.e., purchasing tickets or riding). Nor do we have the time to do all the last minute planning of where to go and things to see for all of Switzerland.
After not so careful consideration we've decided to hit the road (or train in our case) and head to Prague for 3 nights, Dresden for an afternoon, and finally Berlin for 2 nights. Our decision to go to these places was only because we knew we wanted to go there at some point, and its seems like there's no better time then the present!
Our first train leaves sometime before 8am on Thursday, so I guess we better start the planning!!!
Oh yeah ...
Obviously since we are headed out of town the meal planning for the rest of the week has been scratched! It will all just have to be cooked another week I guess.
